Acer platanoides 'Crimson King'

The dense foliage of this slow growing shade tree remains an excellent maroon-red all season long. Spring flowers of attractive maroon-yellow are a bonus. This cultivar, known for its straight trunk and well-shaped head, originated as a seedling of ‘Schwedleri'.
