Forms a huge mound of 14" long, inversely cupped (downward) leaves like a pile of small, blue umbrellas
 
Early growth is blue-green, but turns darker green by early summer
 
Thich, corrugated leaves are very slug resistant
 
Very pale lavender flowers appear on 40" scapes in midsummer
