Sweet Autumn Clematis has long been admired for its fall-blooming flowers and now it comes in a color other than white! Introduced to the North American market by Spring Meadow Nursery for the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Shrubs, this clematis was bred by famed clematis breeder, Szczepan Marczynski of Poland. The cranberry-violet flowers, a break-through color, will delight you about a month earlier than the typical Sweet Autumn Clematis. Trim this back in fall or early spring to keep the vine looking tidy and refined.
